A Shiesty Major

A Shiesty Major is an independent record label founded by producer and rapper, Ed-Ape. The goal for this project was to design a logo that focused on a character who appeared shady, scammy or in other words "shiesty". The character style was also to be influenced by 50's/60's cartoons. The mark and typeface were positioned at a slant to create a feeling of recklessness. To further carry out this idea, the letters were all a little displaced.
